Put some water down this morning! Quite bad surface water water flooding on my travels this morning but it's cleared away now, probably be some blustery showers later along with the wind which is set to ramp up bringing gales again especially Lancashire northwards.

She's the only one who gives me something to cheer about, when these spells of weather are on the horizon.

eh? good weather on way for weekend, sunny, bright, mostly dry, but yes looks foul weekend after, with PM air and rain

worst airstream is polar maritime, 'ate it

yes too far away, PM air yes, sucks in summer too, be good though if it did produce the odd thunderstorm

in winter though, think I would rather have TM air, as here it's often dry, PM air is wet with rain through cheshire gap, course if I lived at Buxton, I'd love it in winter but not summer

Very heavy rain and wild winds here now.

Some hail mixed in with it too.

Hell of a storm here at present, torrential rain, gusty winds, thunder, lightening........proper weather.

And where on earth did that come from nothing really showing on the radar, and here we go again with more hail which is covering the courtyard !

Forgot to mention the hail, just looked out of the window and it looked like it was snowing.

That storm wouldn't have been out of place in the middle of summer, certainly a decent effort for mid November.

Sometimes I wonder why some people are weather enthusiasts when they can't enjoy seasonal weather or at least interesting weather.

For me, with it being winter soon, give me polar air anytime of the week.

Little dissapointed that the northerly has been toned down a bit for Sunday, it seems to be the same old story, just cannot seem to get proper heights into Greenland nowadays and for the whole set up to edge eastwards nearer the time.

Not as windy as it was last night, was quite noisy for a while, still a breeze blowing. Today should be last day out of the next 3 at least where we reach double figure maximums, hoping to get my first air frost of the season over the weekend, depends how breezy it is but it will still feel sub zero in the wind. Temp this morning 10.2c.

Got excited then, received an email from the Met Office warning of snow for NW England, but it only just clips the far eastern side of the county.
