ha ha , light dark turning heavy ....

Maybe they should put advisories out for it, especially if it turns really heavy.

Does it go black when heavy or does it only happen when torrential.

would those advisories appear black on the map ??

Only when there's an imminent danger of needing the lights on.

Really bad here now rain battering the window roaring winds

Quite here at the moment but the radar is showing an intense area of showers crossing your part of the region and heading up the East Lancs towards us so it looks like it won't be dry and calm for long.

Peeing it down pretty bad at the moment, really heavy, don't need any more water! Getting quite gusty as well... 11.4c.

Well the Wirral snow shield is up and running ready for the weekend haha! I think it's 3 years now since our last lying snow. Anyone been snowless for longer?

that's really unlucky; even I had half an inch on 2 occasions last year. Nothing the year before either falling all lying though which was a disgrace. Slightly optimistic about this weekend, the uppers look cold enough and our coastal location will help with catching the showers. Edited by Chris R

Yeh Chris I remember that well, I live in Wallasey and remember the reports of snow on the radio while we only got a slight flurry. We miss out quite a bit.

yeah, I always think I get the worst deal in the region but perhaps the Wirral may beat me to that claim. Let's hope we both have a great winter this time. :-)

I see you've put a massive 20m above sea level while I've gone for 15, maybe that extra 5m makes all the difference haha!!

Haha technically it's only 16 as I've got in my signature but I haven't been able to bring myself to change it as 20 looks better for obvious reasons. Lol

Oh Hello

Who is the new female prestener on our local weather, very

Nice.....Blush,Blush LOL

Seems very professional and presented way better than the

Other two, anyway onto the weekend looks like dry conditions

For our region, with snow falling to the East of The Pennines

And to low levels, also snowfall to the west of Wales, looks like

We might miss out this time-(whats new there)still hopefull

Of cstching s snow shower, but not looking to good at the moment

The consolation is a couple of nigjts of frosts.
