Looks like anyone between Blackpool and Manchester is going to see plenty of rain or with elevation, snow over the next hour or so.

I look to be just to the northern edge of it and missing the heaviest but certainly plenty of bright colours showing on the radar.

It is back to sleet now and it is light too. I think any heavy precip will be of snow in lower ground just what I have seen here.

Hi guys, quick photo of the scene in Oldham East. When the cold snaps come its difficult to nail who gets what but again Mother Nature delivers the white gold.

Happy to not be in the firing line of the streamers, temperature is falling away here and I need it to as it's not favourable here on the coast for later tonight. Currently 3c dew point of -1.
