We may see snow showers coming in from the Sea in a cold north-westerly. :cold: :cold:

More runs needed though.

Just got a bit wet walking the dogs! Cold rain with temps at 3.8c...

That was odd slight drizzle shower with frost forming must be a warm layer ???

The uppers are on the rise with these showers.

Experiencing a dramatic temperature drop here. An hour ago it was 5.2°C. I've just re-positioned my official thermometer and I don't yet have an accurate reading, but the un-screened open thermometer has dropped to 0.1C!

-2c here, already our coldest temperature of autumn 2015.

We just need it to fall a couple more degrees before the cloud and snow showers move in and then hopefully another white scene in the morning.

Indeed, it was last night, and that had colder air! I think possibility of snow east of Warrington tonight.

Agreed SP same old every year so frustrating, but we still seem to hope each year.

Tonight looking less likely for snow than last night with the uppers rising as the small low slips southwards and a westerly flow developing overnight off the relatively mild Irish Sea likely sending temps upwards.

There is even a wintry mix in Southport! If it intensified a little we may get some wet snow around the coast but it's a lonnnnnnnnnng shot.

Saturday night, dark, -3c outside, curry ready, bottle of red opened......oh and a decent chance of overnight snow.

Not quite heaven but could certainly be worse.

Incidently the temperature has rocketed here, it's 7C with rain right now.

True but only because my missus would be at Cheshire Oaks every weekend.

Oh and I'd miss the hills.
