Rain mixed with hail. Cold night. Anyone know weather for Manchester tomorrow. Supposed to be going to the Christmas markets !!

Dry here now but it was good to see falling snow while it lasted.

Temperature 0.5c so are we looking at the first air frost tonight or is the expected increase in winds going to scupper the chances.

Just leap to shop it was still snowed quite moderately with some decent flakes. it were too wet to stick though.  It is stopped now.

 

I'm having cuppa hot chocolate now!! Perfect!! :D

Happy to not be in the firing line of the streamers, temperature is falling away here and I need it to as it's not favourable here on the coast for later tonight. Currently 3c dew point of -1.

And just as I said that a sleet/hail shower has started :rofl::oops:

Wet snow and sleet in Swinton, Manchester - not laying, wet ground, but surprise to me as expected rain. 1.4oC on my outside thermometer! Tonight has become a little more interesting..

Laying on all surfaces..... Thickest on trees/fence/cars/grass.... Maybe 1cm..... Shame will not last long..... Hoping band up north delivers a bit more by morning....

Got a covering over the tops of cars and on grassy areas.  Round 2 showing up in North Scotland now and will track southwards.  Will it have any puff left in it by the time it gets to our parts, because this surely will be all snow if it falls during the overnight period.  Probably got 5-6hrs now of clear skies.

The winds has dropped here. I think it is going to be icy tonight.

Looking very windy for a time later tonight, strong winds already into N/NE Scotland and they are going to sweep southwards.

Oh ok I forgot about that. I hope the winds will deliver some snow to our part.

It would be nice but I'm not expecting anything here at least, temp has fallen quite sharply under clear skies, down to 1.3c now... Expect the wind will soon send the temp back up when it arrives.
