Good luck those to the west! Hope you get some showers, I'm hoping for a nice sharp frost :)

Hey up CreweCold. It's like the old days eh? Chasing the Radar at 4am!

Indeed Ben. Though I could do without these late nights! Thankfully I'm off work this week! :p

As I thought, theres been a slight eastwards trend on the latest runs. Noticed it first with the GFS. Fine margins and all that!

Tell you what CC if we wake up to a decent covering in the morning

I will buy you a few pints

Luckily the fun is planned to start around 9pm so will know if it's sleet or snow by then!

Actually seen my first snow flakes of the winter this morning I say snow flakes but I'm not even sure it would class as snow, really light, really wet and really small drops of slush would be a better description, it went on for about 30 minutes. I believe the local hills had a covering to quite low ground, of course I couldnt see them because because of my job so let's hope it doesn't melt before the weekend.

Some new showers appearing in a much more easterly position on latest radar, starting to get a bit more hopeful of something round this neck of the woods!

Had plenty of flakes here too, sadly they where only cornflakes :nonono:

Showers are forming behind this band, trying to form the standard NW feed of showers. May get something here over the next hour. I'm just west of the M6, so if it snows here, areas east will definitely get snow if anything falls.

Just had a hail shower which covered everywhere white in no time, so a bit more hopeful for tonight/early hours now
