The Blue Bell Hill snow barrier must be in force, nothing coming past Maidstone into Medway.

Rain to snow, then back to rain. Nice to see some flakes falling after what seems like forever.

Had some nice big flakes falling about an hour ago, you must've blinked and missed it :)

Right on the edge of one. Quite high up with countryside next to me, but nothing. Unless it happened in the brief moment I took my eyes away from the window!

We had 3 bursts of decent snow falling, lasting a good 10/15mins each time. Chunky flakes at times so you must of been very unlucky indeed.  :sorry:

I can also confirm Walderslade and Lordwood had snow also.

Blizzard like conditions this morning around 6:30am then snowing steadily for an hour

Settled on cars and grass - (see earlier post of pics)

All gone now, ground drying out rapidly and blue sky coming over with a strong wind.

It's absolutely freezing.

I feel for you - the first flakes of the season...however I'm pretty sure def not the last for us in Medway.

Attention now moves to more Eastern counties and coastal areas when there could still be some heavy showers of snow/sleet today and tonight. I ended up with the usual wintry mix, pity about that warm sector, so often there is something or other that is a snow event spoiler down here. Late November can produce decent snow events though, and this did look virtually spot on until that warm sector turned up.

Here's a few pics of the snow earlier at blue bell hill. Not much but great for mid Nov.

Well. Judging for what i'm reading I was very very lucky I had heavy snow at around 6:30, laid mainly on cars then turned to rain. very chilly out.

omg, never in my 43 years have i seen snow in november.

Nice crop of showers moving South East Anglia, should be Wintery in nature and turn more to snow as the colder air digs in this afternoon. Not over yet, another band of rain, sleet and snow moving South through our area about the same time tomorrow morning.

I remember driving down to Dover in 1993 I think, over the hills down there in 6-8" snow, never forget that.

Then driving the other side of the channel on solid snow/ice, yes in November and it being -4c in Holland by 2pm.

So yes it can be somewhat severe in November.

Not in 2010 when we had a severe end of November and december?!
