Yep they gritted here too, not sure what for, looks dry, and the road surface isn't wet so ice is unlikely for now. temp 0.4, dp -2.2

A nice frosty start here, though there is quite a bit of high cloud floating around.

Heavy frost over night, but it's thawing now. It's not really weather, but it's nice to know, isn't it?  :pardon:

From the satellite it looks like most of the Region is covered with a very thin layer of high cloud. But some weak sunshine trying to poke through here. And looks like a good speckling of showers moving down the North Sea.

Got down to -1.9C overnight.

Cracking clear night.

Below freezing with frost on car most unusual in November esp as close to the sea.

Cloudy now which is a shame.

First air frost of the 'season' very early for it being in Greater London.

Brilliant blue skies, visibility is great and with the sun low in the sky it really does feel winter is creeping in. The week ahead does not look particularly mild, average to slightly below average at times. I would prefer to keep the current weather as when the wind veers westerly we get all the nasty cloud and drizzle. :nonono:

Have a nice day all. :)

I ponder if snow fall will creep on us without too much notice?

All this forecasting hype does not necessarily give the answer. In the past to wake up and look out the window to find a nice dump of unexpected snow was always magical. Or something like that depending on what you had to do.

Can't bare the smug look on some BBC 1 TV forecasters that say "don't worry" it will be mild again come Tuesday.

It's winter, it's suppose to be cold.

What on earth can be happy about having the mild Atlantic train back.

Oh I know.. Gales & floods!

oh noes :yahoo:

Anyway. Nice and chilly out. tested out my new christmas pudding hat. Been cloudy all day really, shame the radar says its just boring cloud, but it's a perfect day for something hot in a mug and cuddles with bubs.
