10.5C to the 2nd (10.5: +4.7)
10.7C to the 3rd (11.1: +5.1)
10.0C to the 4th (7.9: +1.8]
9.8C to the 5th (8.9: +2.8]
9.5C to the 6th (8.5: +3.5)
9.8C to the 7th (11.1: +6.3)
9.5C to the 8th (7.9: +3.5)
9.3C to the 9th (7.5: +3.0)
 
A very mild start, but not quite record breaking. Only 6 Decembers have been above 9C by the 9th.

I suspect recent colder signals are a bit progressive but a late month chillout seems possible. So I may as well go with 5.5*C and hope for the best!

Last sub 4C, sub 3C, sub 2C, sub 1C and sub 0C December all in 2010.

 

cool craig, mine only 7.1C, and I'm the 2000+ more westerlies/low pressure believer, all times of year though not just winter
