I watched the forecast this morning it shows snow heading down from Scotland to over us. I doubt it would snow here it is too very marginal obviously apart from higher ground.

Happy  candlemas everyone btw it's dry so  winter should have a sting in its tail.

Can't see it giving more than a dusting too the usual highest spots, but it would be nice to be wrong and be one of those upgrade events that take the forecasters by surprise.  I'm still going with a dusting for the hills, mostly rain for everyone else.

Well nothing is certain in life dodger but id put money on you being correct.

Sholver etch might see a couple of cm as they are 300m asl.

Me and you probs just not quite high enough.

Sleet is already falling here, and it's 12hrs earlier than the suggested time of 5am tomorrow morning that the beeb forecasted for the colder pool of air to be in-situ across the north.

Just about caught one Nacreous cloud overhead of Sheffield before the sun fully sets this eve, a very small (and less contrast) cloud compared to many i've seen taken the past 24hr. Nonetheless it's still a Nacreous cloud so I can't complain.
