Watching dark clouds coming from the south west over Manchester, looks beefy on the radar.  Quite a thin line though this far north so might just get clipped by it in the next 30 mins or so.

There's another covection line coming in behind but it's  dying... in fact everything coming from the west now it's dying as it's lost all it's energy.

Hailing here too, but a tad disappointing there were not thunder claps, the skies formed as black as night, but according to http://www.lightningmaps.org/realtime#y=53.50792269595366;x=-2.3764801025390625;z=11;t=2;m=sat;r=0;s=0;d=2;a=2;dc=0;o=0;n=0; the last strikes only got as far as the western side of the M60 ring-road.  The energy must have just died a death.

I think we had the last flash out of that right over my house. All the spark has gone now judging by the lightning maps. Some proper hail bit not as heavy as the radar lead me to expect.
