Well if we can't have snow I don't mind a day like today, calm, sunny, not too bad at all.

Yes I noticed a trough or something for this afternoon but seems to be a bit later than was forecast. More chances about midnight as well hopefully to see the year out with a bang.

Seems to be some snow (Pink on radar) on the back edge as that feature trundles through Wales towards us.

Ditto! Happy New Year to the regionals and all of net-weather.  I see there are hints of an easterly towards the end of next week.  Can't really get too excited because I think we'll get the bone-chilling cold but not the snow.  However get the cold in first and all sorts of disturbances can crop up, hopefully we'll have a snowy January.... decent snow you can have fun with and not a 12hr slush-fest.

Trying to snow here

I’ll take your word for it shadowfax.

felt that out of sorts today that I can’t even be bothered to go to the window but on the plus side, at least I should be hungover in the morning.
