ECM has Cancelled the party :nonono:

To be rescheduled, this however should not stop the consumption of Gin

If this SSW has the highest warming waves since records began in 1979 ECM is likely to struggle.

Best have an extra gin to calm the nerves

Oh if you insist :drunk:

ECM looks well out of kilter. I’m not concerned.

Temps are rising slowly by the judge of the damn ménage. But raining ever so slightly now so am pleased! I can put the horse out! ( one can’t go on frozen ground as it bruises the soles of his feet sensitive flower)

Oh in which case I’m glad it warmed up for you :good:

Damn it, hoping it rained in Blandford all day! Boys match got cancelled for tomorrow as our pitch is waterlogged, so reversing the fixture and playing In Blandford instead now. And moved from 12pm to 10:30 am :wallbash: bang goes me lay in!

It may have been the 4th consecutive wet Saturday but this afternoon actually cheered up brightly in Westbury from about 3pm until sunset.

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was expecting this coming week to do me in workwise by being the most wintry of the season. It seems I am going to suffer my usual fate of being rained on!

That looks like a nasty couple of hours during Tuesday morning:

Seems an age since we had a decent windy spell. Must take a look at the tide times for Tuesday. Hopefully they coincide with the strongest winds.

Interesting weather for the week ahead forecast on news 24 just now, shows snow on Tuesday morning from that rain band coming in from the west, hitting the cold air in place over the uk and snow not just on high ground either.

I just can’t see that being snow for south of (you guessed it) the M4. Just seems like a standard front crossing the uk hitting cold air mass to the north washed out in the south. I’ve noticed that the new bbc graphics (courtesy of Meteo Group) are far more bullish than the met office. Look inaccurate to me. Going to be a strange transitional period, I just don’t trust it atm and will refer to MetO for these kind of scenarios. Sorry to be dull. But this is not a unique setup, we’ve been here many times before.

Do you think we will see snow Smartie? Seems like we've managed to miss every snow event so far this winter, what makes this one different.

Karlos beat me to it, looks no different to the failed attempts so far this Winter.

Anyone notice how windy it is tonight
