Windy, chilly and dry but a very moody sky, especially towards the SW. My son said it looked like a stormy sea.

New weather station up and running, 7.4c at the moment.

We're just getting  some heavier rain having been beyond the NE edge of the system until about an hour ago.  Feeling a tad on the chilly side too.

The rain didn't quite make it this far east this morning with it stalling about 15-20 miles to the west. Cloudy for most of the day but the sun did come out for a while this evening. Reached 14.7°C, currently 11.4 °C.

I hope any frost after the weekend isn’t too harsh, especially now all the plants are planted, and growth seems to be coming along well.

Another cracker just in time for the BH weekend. A bit of a blip later on, then more HP for next week.

I've got to break lockdown shortly to pick up the Father-in-law from Southampton Hospital. He's been in for a big op during all this, which has been rather terrifying. Nobody else can go, so I'm getting released into the community for the afternoon. Exciting.

Just managed to hit the 18 mark a little earlier , with 18.0°C at: 16:44, apart from that a pleasant day out in the garden, no nagging sea breeze, so very nice out there....

You have to love the Met Office app. Saying ‘Sunny Day’ and showing shower risk mid afternoon then the thundery icon at 17.00!
