Surprised how cold 2016 was, 5.6 degrees, remember a cold frosty spell around third weekend but not much else. Nearly as cold as 2010!

I remember it being very frosty there was severe frost, a wonderful spell later in month sunny and crisp. Benson fell to -8.5C on 30th with no snow cover that’s outstanding, the second coldest November night after 2010 which had -9.7C on November 28th

There were some impressive synoptics unfortunately too early to deliver snow. Was very mild mid month but this was fairly brief.

A part of me thinks it’s going to be very cold but I’ll suppress that, I’ll go with a chilly 5.3C and 60mm.
