Fun on the Wolds this morning

Some proper heavy snow at work in Birkenshaw today after a nice shower and dusting to wake up to at home. Wonder if we'll get some more tonight

North Sea is quite active. I wouldn't rule out some beefy showers around midnight onwards tonight for places in Yorkshire. A streamer for 3-4h is also possible.

Woke up at 7:00am this morning and took a peak out of the window to find that it was white over then went back to bed thinking i was dreaming lol and didn't think to take a pic

some great cloudscapes today though

they produced some nice heavy snow/graupel showers though

Nice snow shower now, another covering overnight but this time much thinner. Less than 1cm. 

See York has some rare snow, looking at the railway webcam.

Very light dusting this morning on cars and grass, the sun soon took care of that, a cold but hopefully useful day ahead,

Been out for a walk at Ringinglow snowed heavily for the majority of the walk but it didn't settle.

Crazy that we have had 2 straight days of falling snow yet didn't even get that in winter.

Lunchtime bike ride saw a return of the Dutch hills, wind westerly gusting to I would guess Force 7, quite a challenge as a headwind and then buffeting as a side wind. Thought maybe we had done away with strong winds, can always hope.

Had a very short spell of sleet. Moors had heavier showers so I suspect they had Snow there. Not bad for a day of average temps of 11C

Back on the N Yorkshire coast for the first time in 6 months and glad that the rain stopped before we opened up our caravan and got unpacked. A shower of rain this evening but stopped now and the prospect of something better tomorrow.

Not a bad day today, however the Dutch Hills made somewhat of a reappearance during my lunchtime bike ride. Wind gusting to 30mph I would guess, from SW/W. Even with the wind a 'no jacket' day for the first time for a few weeks.

Yes, I enjoyed our brief visit to NY which included a walk on the moors yesterday morning. Not wall-to-wall sunshine by any means but pleasant enough and no sign of any rain, unlike Tuesday.

Very pleasant day, sunshine and very light winds feels warmer than the 12-13C air temp indicates. A no coat bike ride day again.
