Yes, awoken to a very light covering, enough to make the grass and roofs white. Got down to -3.4 last night.  All the clouds skirted out to sea, just the occasional one made it slightly over land.

Well a nice covering in Bridlington for March.

Even the trees are coated white.

Impressive 👍🏼….I was doubtful if we just had a hard frost, but maybe we have had a light dusting, whatever was left after it had been at yours Mike 😁

I suspect that being on that little nose of land that sticks out into the North Sea helps in these conditions

Just had another light snow shower here, but looking at radar they are running down almost parallel to the coast, looks to be some more incoming as well but they are not going to spread far inland.

Beautiful blue skies and sun here this morning.

Was some snow on the ground but that's quickly disappearing.

I love snow and normally winter but im ready for spring now, we haven't had a decent snow event in actual winter i dont want a pathetic attempt in march lol.

The cost of gas is a joke right now, nearly a tenner a day to keep house warm on a morning and evening! Bring on spring warmth. Sick of the cold and empty pockets. 😢

Slight dusting at home, nothing of note, only 'white' road on my commute to Carnaby was crossing Woldgate,

Snowing steadily nr Bridlington, to wet to lay unfortunately, looking at the radar, we might get a few costal showers this morning?

Spectacular views on the top, temps hovering around the 0-1c. Interesting clouds galore, a hint of iridescence & can clearly see the snow falling over the coast. Thought it was going to catch me out but it just skimmed passed!

It is just the coast catching them, the extra 70m elevation means its laying here, all be it with a slow thaw near the house as temps are hovering just at or above freezing, (If thermometer is to be believed, its old and uncalibrated, +0.5C). MetOff observations for Brid give a dew point of -1C

GFS brings Thursday's low further south, if ECM 12Z sticks with it's recent output then it's looking rather interesting

Can see Thursday day time being widespread, but Thursday / Friday night being a Pennines only thing, i.e. turns to rain at low level.

Some highly exciting looking charts but it's all on a knife edge. Anything from hitting the snow jackpot to getting nothing at all seems feasible!

Yorkshire currently looking extremeley well placed now for a period of significant disruptive snowfall! A slight adjustment south would be even better and keep us in the snow for 24+ hours!
