A decent snow shower at the moment but the roads n path are very wet, lamppost watch 😁

Would imagine a bit higher up out of the village this will be settling 🤔

I know what you mean,  it's been like that for North Yorkshire since 6pm this evening,  snowing here quite moderate.

There's more snow showers packing in here than I thought they might.

Very interesting updated BBC Weather forecast with Helen Willets.

Here we go , the cold getting ever more exciting.

Frosty here with clear skies.

Forecats for the weekend all over the place.

Beeb Snow for us.

Met Office zippo.

GFS maybe Sunday afternoon.

Then looking at Monday UKV suggests chance for us every other forecast rain.

Showers at the coast are a mixture of snow and graupel, with a light covering. Not quite cold enough for it to stick around, 1c here.

Same at Carnaby Mike, a bit of slush in the car park but mostly wet, just shows what a few miles inland and a bit of elevation can do, this pic is just before i dropped down to Burton Agnes from Rudston earlier,

I'm more interested in the potential Sunday system rather than this constant RSH (Radar Shower Hunting). Too bad even less than 48h away forecasting is a mess.

Yeah I thought the gfs must be good for the north, as it’s all a bit quiet on the mod thread 🤣

Lincoln didn't catch any showers through last night or today so far, they've been coming onshore in east Lincolnshire and then dying out. There's been thick freezing fog here since around 11am and the temperature at the University is yet to get above freezing. I see potential for snow here from Sunday's system but there's a lot of uncertainty regarding where it ends up tracking.
