Rain and sleet now turned to wet snow, which is quite a surprise.  Started to settle again on paths, drives and side roads where last nights snow had thawed.  Temps now down to 0.4c and Dewpoint 0.1c.

Seems to be light sleet and ice pellets here. Hard to see in the gloom 😂

Turned back to light drizzle and light rain could soon start freezing as the temperatures fall.

It's been light rain and drizzle in Lincoln since early afternoon, with the temperature steady at around 1.5C but the dew point rose above freezing since around 9am which ruled out the possibility of further snow. As a result it's getting rather slushy and drip, drip, drip out there. But here are some photos of the snow this morning.

I've been away in Colorado past week so haven't posted. Nice to see it's been a cold week for you guys with a little snow last week. Got back yesterday and was lovely to watch the heavy snow here pile up last night. Got a good few inches here.

It's melted fast today though and now raining. Shame it's not going to last a few days.

Still, I've had scenes like this while I was at my brother's, thought you'd all like to see 😎☺️🌨️

Meto just issued a new weather warning for snow for Sheffield and pennine areas, from 18.00 Sunday to 12.00 Monday.

Rain will likely fall as snow to relatively low levels for a time this evening and at first tonight across parts of northern England, giving a few cms of additional cover locally. Snow should become confined to the higher parts of northern and central Wales, as well as northern England with time, leading to accumulations of 2-5 cm on some roads above around 150 m, and perhaps 10-15 cm on roads above around 350 m. Snow will die out from the north through Monday.

Just been out to walk the dog and we still have steady light snow which has now given a good covering on all surfaces except the main roads.  Cars struggling on hills again even with a slight covering.  Temps now down to 0.1c and dewpoint -0.1c, so hopefully we might squeeze a cm or 2 this evening and tonight before the forecast rise in temps.

Just light snow here struggling to settle a heavier band approaching from the SW which should make it more interesting.

Interesting, I have exactly the same temp and dewpoint and only 100m asl compared to your 150m, but I still have light snow.
