Temp just shot back up to 2.3c here, maybe the increased cloud?

Interesting, so the latest shower is quite heavy.. started as rain but quickly transition to sleet but then took on a fine graupel type .. but don't think it was truly graupel because it didn't settle which graupel usually does.

Great start though and good for those further east. I think someone inland is going to get buried tonight judging by that.

Even on the coast we may have some temporary slight accumulations at times.

Light Graupel and hail showers... covering on moss/grass can hear it falling if only light

hope everyone with covid is ok and recovers.. hitting near and far atm...

Now know 39 people who’ve had it.... at least 20 of them have now had first jab... hoping my mum and auntie have it in the next week...

hope lots of us in nw get some snow overnight and tomorrow ❄️❄️❄️❄️

Went to bed this afternoon but couldn’t sleep although it didn’t take much of the Boris, Witty and Vallance show to change that

3 hours later I woke up with another banging headache and now I probably won’t be able to sleep tonight

Quite a bit of shower activity clipping southern edge of the County through Morecambe Bay, looks like a bit more developing Isle of Man, may make it our way, could do with a bit more further north. Temp just above 1 degree so conditions now favourably for snow at low levels circa 100m.

Looks like some heavy precipitation is arrowing in the direction of Liverpool. Might leave a covering.

And here too

Well the hails frozen on top of the cars here, so it's cold enough to do that, although the skies are clouded over etc...

Early doors yet
