Been waiting all day watching the radar and finally it has started snowing ...nothing heavy, but any at all is good in my eyes.

Light snow ❄️ has arrived in South Cheshire settling on the grass but too light to settle on anything else just yet. Bodes well for tonight hopefully ❄️

Raining at work, just got home - continuous light snow here it's leaving a dusting on the grass and favoured surfaces, plus any of the now very bedraggled ice/snow that's managed to survive for over a week now in the shaded areas. Goes to show how marginal these things are though - in Halewood it was our old nemesis cold rain, not that it's Narnia here mind.

Still waiting across here in Crewe! I was struck earlier by the amount of ice around at midday in the clear blue skies and sun, which largely disappeared after it clouded over between 2pm and 3pm. A case of cloud cover rather than winter sun raising the temperatures I suspect.

Yeah this morning once the fog cleared was sparkling, lots of ice and hoar frost around. Just a light shower here main band is overnight into tomorrow morning fingers crossed for a covering 1-3cm possible if it maintains intensity and sticks.

Just had really heavy rain here in Llandudno

Bit of hail mixzd in. As you said, thoroughly miserable day.  Memorable only for the rare frost this morning.

I was checking out the traffic cams that way, visibility is very poor that way. I imagine those cameras at Rhuallt Hill and Halkyn might seen some snow if those heavy showers find their way there.

I wonder if the top of Penmaenmawr quarry saw some snow at 400m asl.

The big flakes have arrived now the temp has dropped ever so slightly. Still an element of sleet in there though.
