Possible chance of the precipitation turning back to snow as the cold front comes through later this evening  though.

Good covering here this morning in Newtownards outskirts, centimetre or so. I haven't slept much, it has been light snow most of the night from around 2/3am, became more moderate outbursts the last hour.

Met office spent all night telling me there was no snow as it chucked it down

Had a slight covering here this morning, was up at 2am with the baby and it was snowing then. Back to rain now though.

I would say we’re approaching 3” here, not sign of rain yet

Weather radar says it should be raining here, but still snowing away.

Turned to rain  here so everything a slushy mess, though seems to be more sleety/snowy mix now, anywhere with elevation should be doing well

It's madness here in Ballymena . There must be near 3 - 4" of snow, and it's still coming down strong.

Still non stop on Carryduff.  A wee bit of altitude making all the difference.

Yeah thats a work from home day if you can. Roads tonight/tomorrow will be shocking if it freezes.

Had a quick walk in the snow which quickly turned to sleet now raining. Gotten very messy

The really cold air actually comes through this evening with very low dew points. A harsh and widespread frost for sure with an ice day for some tomorrow. 

Any snow confined mainly to Northern areas again I think.

It's actually stopped snowing here and the precipitation band is to the North, so I'm hoping to avoid the rain and sleet.

Drip drip happening here now.

Yes, keeping an eye on possible storm, but there seems to be lots of options at the moment.
