When we're knee deep in snow in a few weeks with bitter South Easterlies and the North Coast is dry as a bone  we'll not be complaining then!

A lovely last walk in the country lane near home before the mild muck moves in tomorrow. Good thing is, it’s only 19th January, still easily time for another cold spell. Hope all of us get a countrywide snowy spell for a change next time.

Final picture I promise!

Not much of a thaw when I got home today.

poor snowman died a death yesterday.

Any chance the storm on Sunday will be upgraded to red in some places?

Yes, I am terribly jealous, but they are beautiful pictures. I have very few pictures on the wall in my home, but there is one special one of our road just outside our house back in 2010. Everything pure white. It's one of my favourite pics (aside from kids pics) So please do keep them coming.

Even on a small island like Ireland it’s clear there are favoured places for winter weather and summer weather. I’m guessing you see more blue skies and higher temperatures than me in summer?

Reports of trees down around Omagh, not really surprised. Partner stepped out the back for a smoke and we now have a swimming pool at the back door with the rain lol

Winds definitely getting stronger, it’s times like this I wish I purchased a weather station.

Spent a while outside watching the planes approach Belfast international, only to be unfortunate to land, wouldn’t want to be on one this evening, serious disruption
