What a night! 4 large trees down out the front of my house. Has taken out 2 of my neighbours telephone/BB lines in the process.

Nearly every house in my street has been damaged.  Missing tiles, trees down, pots smashed a plenty.

Noticed that earlier, seen one poster try to say as it wasn't bad for them it couldn't have been bad elsewhere and it was folk just attention seeking. I would suggest that they were the ones attention seeking....

Phoned a roofer at 8am to fix tiles, said he would be out today.

Still waiting.

Weather forecast tomorrow is not good.

Especially with everything weakened from last nights storm. Noticed a lot of Ash trees down, Ash dieback a big cause of that I suspect with the trees already dead or in a weakened state.

14 degrees tomorrow 🤮🤮🤮, only means one thing at this time of year.

Barely above freezing this time last week.

We got through Sunday with no building damage yet this morning some of the houses around here have tiles lifted. Sunday must have weakened them.

I got of lightly, sorry for you guys that had impacts. Just a cordyline tree for me, a nice one mind you, but it was young and they grow quickly from the base anyway, should be multi stemmed now if it grows from the base. Amazingly mild outside now.

Some big gusts here already this evening.

Hopefully a bit drier and less windy the rest of the week once this storm passes through

Can hear our roof tiles rattling again hopefully they all stay put.

The house across from the back of us lost 3 tiles last night. I hope they don’t loose their roof tonight because there’s a gaping hole down by the eve.

Pub run gives us 3 days of snow next week, Wednesday,  Thursday and Friday!.

It will be gone in the morning.

Going by this mornings GFS run then that would give 24 hours of snow next Thursday into Friday. Doubt it will happen anywhere close to that but we can hope

Nothing so far but cold rain on the afternoon runs. Certainly not for Thursday or Friday. More cases of 'Jam tomorrow" again for mid month....
