No, thankfully, neighbours half a mile away have been on and off for an hour.

Apparently NIE teams stood down

Winds to peak here in next 2-3hrs if the metO app is to be believed

It's bad now, and peak still midnight.

Surprisingly no, not even a flicker. This is a vicious storm compared to some other “named storms”. An absolute beast!

Surprisingly our electric hasn’t even flickered and we’re in the country

We’ve more wind to look forward to Tuesday

Bloody weather station only reads gusts in Metres/second, so have to get the calculator out. Just recorded a 30.1 M/S gust which roughly equates to 110 kph gust. About 10/20 higher than what Met Eireann said we've had so far. I was watching the living room window bulge as it happened. Almost like a squall, but no rain falling. Another couple of hours of this ahead of us. Usually we don't lose the sparky in storms but there has been a flicker or 2 of the lights.

No issues with the electricity here as of yet. The bin slid across the garden and has left a nice mess though 🫠

Local Ballymena Facebook page showing trees down all over the place, with a number of roads blocked.

Totally crazy. I would say there'll loads of traffic disruption through out the country by the morning.

Serious wind here multiple trees blocking roads being reported in a couple of delivery driver groups I’m in.

Back gate is currently being propped up with the wheelie bin. It’s being held together with half a box of screws already 🤣 surprised it’s lasted as long.

There’s power outages around here but luckily we’re still on. I’ve candles ready and the big Ryobi torch ready with a freshly charged 5ah battery.

Wild here in Naas. This must be the most all island event in a long time, as in every where is really stormy at the same time.

Someone has lost a large trampoline and it’s currently tangled up in some trees.

What a night! Power still off here since 9.30 last night. Daylight  will  show what damage was done.
