Next frame is critical... It should slide south east, but it looks very tight! Ideally could do with it not being so rounded.

South east it goes!

So what's happened to the snow that was forecast yesterday for Saturday?

Just watched the BBC and its all changed, midlands today yesterday reply talking up heavy snow now the beeb says bit of snow on high ground!

It's so so fickle

It's going to be a nowcast, it's super marginal on the ECM for Saturday and that's the main model they use for forecasting snow

If that low from Greenland drops just right, could be snowstorm at 240

ECH1-216 (6).gif

Just thinking it might lose the low and go more gem like, no alarms though

Some fantastic charts this morning from a cold perspective, interesting times ahead.. As for Saturday's snow event here's NetWx & UKV with the snows lines most Northern extent.

To be sure, to be sure

I'm ignoring anyone who moans about day 10 precipitation charts

Nice start to the day after waking up with self inflicted food poisoning.

CFS anyone, -17c uppers clipping Dover mid Feb would this initiate a freeze in the Dover Straits towards Calais? I know Pegwell Bay has frozen before
