New seasonal low max and min for me. Got down to -1.3 °C on Saturday night, then struggled up to 4.1 °C today. In both cases, marginally lower than Friday night/Saturday were.

Today was okay, I guess. Not "interesting" compared with Saturday, but I don't want a storm like that every day! A tiny bit of very slushy snow around 5pm, and a little rain at other times. Not much to report.

Minus 4.4'c last night here. Would have been more due to the lying snow, but the cloud never broke, so it stayed 'milder'.

Looking forward to going hollying in the snow to make holly wreaths for work today

The very soft powder snow has lasted all night, white wheel tracks not wet this morning. The light cloud line is just encroaching over us now, but it's down to -4 a couple of hours ago.

Not had to scrape the car windscreen for a good while...proper icy this morning.

Thursday morning looks interesting...

Again?

GFS is weird with that one. It has a higher snow risk where the upper air temperatures are higher, with rain/sleet where the air is colder.

The mid range time frame not looking to good now though with the chance of a scandi high diminishing. Hope to see a big improvement from the 12zs.

We know its not going to look anything like that on Thursday...be interesting to watch how it evolves ( or fades to just light rain....)
