Exceptionally clear skies tonight! Although, PM2.5 and PM10 levels are creeping up due to it being calm.

Temp 5.4°C.

Seen a number of flashes and heard two distant rumbles. Died down a little bit now.

All while it’s 4 degrees. Who needs a plume! Autumn has been the storm season this year.

Lovely to see the first touch of frost this Autumn, 1.9c minimum, 2.2c now with the sun rising.

We had a little frost on the lawn this morning and its crystal clear at the moment.

Yes. It's the lack of sun that's the killer. My worst is cloud, cloud, thick dark, cloud! So yes there is a positive when the sun comes out and you get to see frost. Frost is as close to snow as you get in the south!

Lovely sunny afternoon here. Currently 8.5c. 2mph SW Gusting 9mph. Some Towering Cumulonimbus to the NE though.

It's the very same here, Beka, especially during those dull, grey days between Xmas and New Year. It would have been even worse in Inverness, but for all the snow!

Yup and makes a change to see frost too..as for the other white stuff, global warming has put paid to that unless you live above the M4 or above 300mtrs

Didn't quite drop low enough for a frost here last night but still got down to 2.8°C. Sunny all day and out of the breeze it felt a fair bit warmer than the temperature suggested. Reached 13.1°C, currently 6.7°C

Morning All, another glorious start, white with frost, and blue skies after an overnight low of -0.8°C at: 06:43, currently 2.4°C with RH96% and a light breeze in from the N..

Meanwhile from above it shows how the dangler has shaped up, yet nice and clear along the coastal reaches around here

On from the beach side of the estate, it looks cloud(y)!

First air frost of the season, incidentally on the same Wednesday in November as last year.

-0.7°C the minimum. May have gone lower if it hadn’t clouded over.
