I checked every high res model last night to just see if there was anything floating about... nothing... wake up this morning heavy snow. so I too am some what confused but always expect the unexpected in cold weather!

2 days of seeing falling snow, okay, hardly anything but beats about 5 or 6 winters in the last 10 years of never seeing a flake! And its only the 2nd December!

Lets hope its a good sign of things to come. Cant remember the last time I've seen snow this early into the Winter but then again I live in a very , very flat place. Milton Keynes seems to be a bit luckier than my home.

No snow here, after the heavy snow predicted by the beeb, I think they should come round with a snow machine and cover the area, No ice either after the ice warning.

Enjoy the snow if you're getting any

Nice little dusting this morning 3rd day or falling snow, 2nd day of settling snow, now tonight seems as if it will snow on the leading edge of the western fueled weather front as it meets the cold air

Same here! Cars and rooftops with an icing sugar dusting to wake up to this morning in Surbiton. I just checked the radar and those out and about early doors would have caught the snow around 6-6.30, all done with by 7.
