Another heavy snow shower starting in the city. Think by 7.30am the worst will be done and then the sun will do its work

Very decent overnight snowfall here in Westhill just outside Aberdeen. Heavy snow back on again and radar would suggest a good bit to come. Not looking forward to the morning commute.

Looking amazing in the north guys love the pictures

on Thursday/ Friday low gfs has pushed it a little further north again which would keep us in the game a bit better

Looks to keep Thursday/Fridays snow south of the border....

Yes seems to be a trend. Northern England will get most of it

lovely morning here,  clear blue skies and doesn’t ‘feel’ that cold esp with the sun out

off to the airport to go to London for work so will see what they get. Spoiler alert. Sweet fanny Adams !

Think the roads in the city and shire are pretty much at a standstill for now, be fine in a couple of hours and some March sun

Morning all,

Nice to see the snow photos! Blue skies here this morning after the first air frost in some time. Low was -1.6c.

Measured 4cm on driveway outside garage door before clearing it, but that must have been sheltered as at least twice as deep nearer the road. Nice and sunny now, and working from home as school closed.

GFS, UKV, fax charts and met office text forecast all take the snow through Scotland so I wouldn't be so sure of that shift south of the border yet (I've not checked the others but appreciate ECM goes South). Met office also starting to mention the chance of more sleet and snow coming in over the weekend too....

Beautiful morning. -2c after a low of -3c. Must have had a very light flurry at some point as it's welded to the windscreen!

Perhaps 4cm here in Aboyne. Not much new snow overnight. Schools closed. Total joke. Home office view this morning.

Decent fall here. Haven't measured but looks like there is around 6 inches or so on the garden table.
