Mad. Some of the heaviest snow I’ve seen but must be very localised. Everything now turning white as it’s heavy enough to overcome the wet and relatively warm ground.

Always love to hear others seeing snowfall, but your pretty much on your own the highlight I’ve got is crystal clear skies...the stars are shimmering here very brightly

Cheshire Streamer, winds are WNW, needs to be NW for West Midlands/Stafford

Can barely see out of my window now. Marginal conditions can produce the best snow! Must be the heaviest I’ve ever seen.

That was amazing. Not huge snow cover but the rate it was coming down was great to watch! Love me a Cheshire Gap streamer! Once again, very marginal conditions really deliver here! Looks like the Peak District have been absolutely pummelled with snow the last few days. Always less down here, of course, but we fare better than most places.

Any ideas on what this feature coming into North Wales is doing? I'm not sure I saw this modelled anywhere... unexpected trough?

It’s more sleety as it’s not very heavy. Still, every flake counts to me

And me, if this reached my back yard it’ll be rain for sure

Mostly likely. Upper air temperature gradually increasing the next few hours ahead of tomorrow’s washout.

Interesting evening at work. I’m currently in training to be a train driver and just done a run from Birmingham to Manchester and back via Stoke.

Snow on the ground around Longport station and more so on some of the smaller stations between Macclesfield and Stockport.

Drove through some quite heavy snow falling  between Kidsgrove and Congleton.

Rain washing the snow away this morning. Still some patches of snow and I can see a good covering over the Peak District.

Could we see something a little wintry once again this eve? Wind dir and temps aren't quite as favourable as last night, but you never know!
