Around 27c with quite a bit of cloud and a stiff breeze. No sign yet of things kicking off.

Radar looks like showing signs of interest now

Why is everywhere but here, cooling down, how much longer, I’m melting……28c here, brief shower this morning, lovely…not, raised humidity nothing more. Did the cold front die before it could reach the EA heat bowl ?

We seem to be caught in the Middle, stuff kicking off and moving down from the West and stuff moving up from France but too much East.

Stuck in the Middle with you(all) 🙂

I'd call that pleasantly warm after the last 2 days!

Been mostly cloudy here since midday with a very strong breeze, which is drying everything up even more.

Indeed, two more field fires locally, one only a couple of miles away.

Well evening all, Still very muggy and close, I see the bookies have now slashed odds based on Monday and yesterdays extreme temps, the heat was shockingly unbearable, along with record breaking. Now we approach August and with this also being a very hot month and at times we can have very long HP spells, what we experienced Monday and Yesterday could very easily be repeated again and very soon I believe, the Heat is very much in control in the Med, and we are in Plume season...our strongest ones are still to come, but as we move through August so is the highlighted chance of good old storms with the good old Atlantic influence.

Stay Cool..😓

No rain here, but someone's getting some, judging by the sky. I wouldn't be at all surprised should A. N. Other get some lightning, too!😄

Well not looking at radar (honest )in down town Sevenoaks (not east of btw) local cloud low level winds are ne wind, but against the general flow fractionly higher level which is n north westerly to my south east clear blue ,caught in the middle as such.

Well just looked..and I'm none wiser ,lack of steering is my guess.

Waiting for my flight back to Prague at Heathrow and it’s gone very dark outside and it’s chucking it down. Haven’t seen any lightning yet.

Had some thunder and lightning last night, including power cut, and almost no rain with it. I just want rain, as in the whole se needs it.
