Is anyone else seeing a double low, one over Kent and one further west, or I'm I just seeing things wrong?

Yep but the pivot zone isn't far from N London, fingers crossed!

Would take that, as would mean 8-10cms. Unlike earlier models though, which seemed a bit scanty with the extent of the band, I now wonder if the main swathe might be a bit tighter than what's shown there.

Well from a South London point of view Arpege (rolling out now) gives more of a chance than the Arome model due to the pivot location.

Also backed by the Met forecast that's gone for more substantial snow showers with a higher probability.

Definitely one to be glued to the radar for in my locale.

Those to the East and Kent especially look good regardless

Could a streamer set up in the Same way it did in 2009 that gave North West London a lot of snow but Southend it was rain

it looks like it might be able to set up as the winds are favourable direction for that

Snow seems to have been honing in on me for an entire year at the moment but should mean a long time for snow when/if it arrives.

Is it me but the further inland it gets the more it’s seeming to struggle the last half hour it’s been dying off or turning to rain as it approaches Maidstone and the surrounding areas… Or am I just overthinking it? Lol

Can well imagine. Lighter snow here now but a good covering and, somewhat unbelievably, this already is on a par with what we got from the BFTE.

Often seem to have a shield over us as it progressed towards Blue Bell Hill...as Lauren mentioned earlier.

Fingers crossed.
