The heat continued to build through the afternoon - our max was 27.5C at 18.20 this evening. Still hovering around 25C now, and the breeze has almost entirely gone. Feeling very warm!

29.2c on my station today, despite MO saying max of 25c.

23.8 here just amazes me how quick it got hot with a southerly air flow. With all the heat Spain won’t take much to get a very hot spell in the next few weeks

It’s the lowest it’s been all night here now at 6am at 20.1c

Nice sky to the NE when I went to the bathroom at while ago, so much so I went and got my phone to take a pic

Surely if we don't get something out of this we never will. One of the most perfect set ups I can remember a long yine. Virtually no wind humidity at a high percentage sun poking through the clouds. Just a perfect set up. Just want it to go Electrical and proper storms

Certainly is, I'm not sure what to expect for my location tbh. Main lot looks to go West of me imo. Looking at the smaller clusters forming with interest!

I've had a couple of  dollops or  so in Orpington...everything so far has slid nw or died out there is a batch that is moving towards us, but ..and its a big but ..on our form so far

Aye, it's the usual dry squib over here. Had I not grown to expect such nothingness, I might have called it a 'bust'!

Least it watered the tomatoes and onions for today ..coz I'm banned from using hose pipe ..saves watering can today ..but its dry as bone again and it feels like there's more water vapour than droplets...and a storm well ..thats been knocked into the short brown grass for sure

Any hopes of a storm tonight? The mugginess has got worse and temps went from 23 to 20°C after the rain but now up to 26°C!!

Keep hearing rumbles from way off to the South East and here it's gone very still and ominous

Yes, thought we could hear something over the tv so came out in the garden and deep booms from the SE

After being in a couple of air conditioned shops today, the contrast when coming back out on to the street was startling in terms of heat and humidity. 

A couple of  bands of rain today with some distant thunder. 3.8mm the total.  Max temp today 24.1, but at 70% humidity it was all fairly uncomfortable.

Lucky! I can hear the thunder to the west now but again not coming this way. Have been so unlucky so far this year for storms. 
 

Just noticed temp has finally come down a bit though, now 20.9c
