can we expect a northwards correction for Tuesday night's snow?

I am not anywhere near as knowledgable as most on here, but given how snow has fallen with very little notice and forecast where I am, maybe anything is possible!

Seems everywhere around me is seeing at least a few flakes falling but still nothing at all here.

Just fearful of the  "everything gets adjusted south during cold"  comments which are very frequent! I guess it would be good to know if there's precedent for a shift north in the past. Definitely still in the game looking at the models - and anything that falls should be snow.

Edit: UKV looking good

Light rain in Kingsbridge, feels bitterly cold out in the wind though. Can't be too far from it turning to snow surely?!😆

Indeed it did turn to snow, we have the lightest of dustings on the grass verges!🤗

Sublimation. Google it. I searched ‘snow sublimation’ .

Does sublimation give you green grass? 🤣

It melted.

Light snow in Dorchester, a gentle breeze picking up maybe picking up a bit of moisture off the channel.....

For our most south western members;

Personally not got high expectations, I think it'll all go through the channel into northern France but what do I know!!

We're often on the edge of our seat wondering if the models will be kind to us but this will it/won't it snow tomorrow really is edge of seat stuff. Not that my expectations are that high but we'll see what happens when it does so.

I'm thinking of placing myself on top of Creech Hill, will a flask of hot chocolate and binoculars to watch the cloud/action scrape along the channel.

Met suggest ringwood to have an hour of light snow. Bournemouth sleet.
