-0.6c was the low here so the first air frost. Unusual in September but not unheard of. A bit of visible frost on some surfaces too. Warmed up now and a bit of a breeze kicking in. Good drying weather.

Got down to 2°C here so down to ground frost levels, although I wasn’t up early enough to see it. Unusual to get a ground frost this early in the autumn here. Lovely day though, mostly sunny, and temperatures quickly rose in the morning. Feels very pleasant out in the sun now, sat in the garden in shorts and a t-shirt. ☀️ Quite chilly indoors though at only 17°C.

Another cracking day today, similar to yesterday. A high of 15.5C and breezy again. Clouds have now rolled in for the evening/night so not as chilly a night to come.

A lovely September day today - might be just me but definitely a sign of Autumn creeping in on cue this year rather than the extended summer September often has been for many a year this past decade. Foliage turning & falling earlier too thanks to the hot dry summer 🍂 ☀️

Bang on 5C was the low here, temp was up and down on my graph with passing cloud cover. Chilly wind today but the sun still has just about enough ooomph to feel ok if you are in it and sheltered from the gusty breeze. It'll have to ease off tonight if there's going to be a frost or close to one.

Some interesting charts later in the month. Of course way too early for snow but the chilly charts relative to the time of year keep being churned out. If only this was 2 months down the line. No doubt we'll have a raging PV by then!

Had we had this pattern in winter it would probably be below 0 by day.

The high today was 14.9 the low 2.0.

Unusual to see such a large diurnal range in September.

It was pleasant in the afternoon but by 6 pm the sun went in and the breeze got up and it felt quite chilly.

The next few days look milder but also cloudier.

Much milder tonight, currently 10.6°C with 73% humidity.

Looks good, I drove over the tops to Burnley yesterday lunchtime and the visibility was great with the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and the Bowland fells all clearly visible.

there’s nothing better than a cool northerly for walking at this time of year.

Mild night, min was short lived at 8° sometime before 5am.  As Mr. F.L.Thunder said, it's cool, there's no harsh chill in the air.  Milder feel here due to cloud cover and miserable drizzle.

Once again the sharp temperature contrasts between the coast and inland becoming evident as we advance into the autumn. This will be even more noticeable this year with the warm sea.

Cloudy start to the day here but it is brightening now with a bit of sun starting to make an appearance.

a bit milder first thing under the cloud with no repeat of Saturdays frost on the ground and cars.

Much less cool overnight compared to the previous night with an overnight low of 10.8C due to cloud cover. A cloudy start and looks dry out here so no evidence of any rain and no rain recorded on station. Looks like the drizzle/rain has all been just to the East of here so far, judging by the radar.
