After yesterday's washout, at least today has started dry and hoping that we may seem some sun later on. Originally forecast to be a nice weekend, but now seems that the front which brought yesterday's rain may make its way back over us tomorrow, albeit less active, leaving Sunday as the one dry day of the weekend.

Quite a cold outlook really. BBC mins next 5 days -1, -1, -1, 0 and 0 degrees. Can't recall at any point during the winter seeing such a forecast.

Feel free, we’re a friendly bunch who live in the worst part of the country for snowy weather so fill the time talking about everything else instead.

Well, its sunny with some blue skies. A vast improvement on yesterday.

Only another 595 pages to go to equal our last forum record.

And strange aviation movements, popping out, popping in, chopping logs and not forgetting my team... Manchester City.

Looking at the radar, showers are quite scattered at the moment but one of them has managed to scatter itself right over here and scatter a decent amount of hail while at it.

I’m just glad I hadn’t took the opportunity to get out for a walk in the dry and sunny conditions.

Forecast has changed again, with the front which brought yesterday's washout not returning sufficiently far west to affect our region. So a reasonable weekend in prospect. Now what are the odds of seeing a Crewe Alex win tomorrow?

Thanks Had Worse, after a bit of rooting round I  agree.  Silver Jubilee Bridge, Runcorn to Widnes.  Just the scenic view to identify now.

A lovely start to the day, waiting for our weekly shopping delivery and then maybe I can get a bit of a walk in although much of the day is already spoken for.

Fortunately tomorrow also looks pretty decent and I’ve no other plans.
