Sunny here but not trusting the washing line method for drying.

3 maidens full in my house.

Using tumble dryer very very sparingly, dishwasher redundant and apart from last nights treat from the Chinese,  trying to batch cook.

Just had our boiler fixed… walked into utility room day before yesterday to puddle of water on the floor… hopefully they’ll turn up today and fix the pipe

Batch cooking is great… make lots of curries, stews, pies etc and freeze excess portions for another day…

Looks like some interest and a cold Easter is a possibility.

After last years warm one I wouldn’t be surprised although unless one of us has a disastrous Covid test result, I’m expecting to be spending Easter on a cruise somewhere in the western Caribbean/gulf of Mexico.

4000nm from UK might be a good thing.

Wind quite a lot stronger than suggested on forecasts… trees swaying and fence making a racket… must be 50mph plus… mild though 8c

Fairly benign weather on the way by the looks of things, maybe some rain Weds.... temps around average with nothing all that cold or warm. Gone is a potential beast & replaced by a least from the east!

Been lovely today, it didn't feel overly cold in the wind.  On the look out now for new born lambs to start appearing.  Caught the dregs of the setting sun above Macc.  this evening.

Yes, Louise L suggested that Wednesday could be really wet in the NW as warm and cold air collide. After that, an easterly should help us into and over the weekend, at least I hope it does as Mrs FLT and I plan to celebrate our wedding anniversary in the S Lakes on Saturday. I did suggest Crewe v Bolton but she was having none of it!

Oh no ??‍♂️ Where did this showery rain ☔️ come from? First day of the year I’ve tried to hang out the washing too.

They took more blood and said they aren't overly concerned.

Basically, his blood has a lower chance of clotting. They are going to monitor it.

Not the best of days. Disappointingly cloudy with some bursts of rain from time to time and quite chilly. Max 8 degrees. No sunshine.

Second half this week set to bring plenty of sunshine which will feel very pleasant now we are into mid March and fitting given Sunday marks the first day of Spring. Couple of weeks time the clocks will have gone forward and its full steam ahead, just the last vagaries of the winter feel to go..

You've been unlucky, we've had no rain, showery or otherwise,  here in neighbouring Crewe today.

The equivalent of walking into an industrial freezer. Theyve been going at clearing the runway for hours and the snow keeps coming down.

Meanwhile, a nice sunny pleasant day here in Hadfield.
