Nothing like that has come off at that range all winter, so I wouldn't worry.

The Op run isn't quite an outlier, but it's well below the mean.

Couple of pics of a moonlit lenticular cloud over Stretford on Saturday night (not my pics, lifted from a local FB group).

Though having said that, the 06 run is even colder on the Op.

Another air frost overnight. Despite daytime maxima being above average we are tallying quite a number of cold nights this month.

Today not as bright as recently and it feels quite chilly in the breeze. Current temp 9.5 degrees. We cut off the colder feed tomorrow and the rest of the week should be mostly sunny and very mild for late March.

A long way off and prone to change but BBC forecast for here shows the cooling trend.. next 4 days 17 degrees high, by Tuesday and Wednesday next week down to 7s and 8s..

Low was -4.6C this morning. -2C at Manchester airport. Nothing all that unusual as it's still only March. Had air frost's in May before. Bit disappointing cloud amounts today should be better tomorrow and warmer.

Nothing unusual but most nights were milder Dec to Feb!

17C the high here with plenty of hazy sunshine. But just a heads up we have very high air pollution on Thursday for parts of our region. First for the east tomorrow then us. Anyone know why?

Saharan dust maybe? Very pleasant day here in the far SE of the region 17c &  lots of sunny ☀️ skies with variable cloud. Tomorrow right through to Saturday/ Sunday looking decent first mow of the lawn and drinks outside in the beer garden kind of weather. A cool down looking likely next week - with Spring having a chilly sting in the tail perhaps as we head into April?

Usually a slack SE flow will bring pollution across from Germany, Netherlands etc.

as for today, a decent sunny morning up here before more cloud rolled in during the afternoon.

not as cloudy as yesterday though and it certainly felt a bit warmer than yesterday which, given the forecast was a bit underwhelming.

As it says a flow from the near continent. Air is becoming very stagnant no wind to mix things reason why. Also a long continental drift from the south. The air has has a humid feel to it. If this was high summer unbearably uncomfortable. Can feel how dry the air is.

Couldn't sleep so I thought I know I haven't looked at the models for weeks let's see if this warm weather is going to last.

Are we about to have one of the coldest starts to April in years???

ECM not out yet but GFS & UKMO think so!

Day 7.

Yes, there was a hint last night on the BBC weather forecast of very cold weather to come next week. No indication which regions it will affect but apparently the possibility of snow showers! In the meantime, dare I say it but another sunny morning, with initial chill in the air quickly dispelled by the warmth of the sun.

If the warmer temperatures can hang on until 5th April and providing me and Mrs Iand61 don’t do a Devon Lock with Covid tests, it can do what it wants for the following two weeks but I can’t see a repeat of these fantastic conditions from last April.

Hard to believe that with today's blue skies, warm temps, and moderate UV levels, there's a distinct cold-snap on the way with the possibility of snow according to the latest GFS run. At least i've been fortunate enough to find the spare-time to get a few Ethel's done in the White Peak and to 'top-up' the tan before our familiar old friend called 'clouds' make an appearance again.

Min was -1.7C here. Nice sunny start to the day but has clouded over. Supposed to have been sunny but this is the NW - cloud magnet.

Another mostly sunny day here and warm too in the afternoon after a slightly chilly start to the day with temp peaking at 18.9C. Tomorrow and into the weekend looks to be a continuation with chilly starts and warm afternoons.
