Shame I was looking at the 3 day out  .....

I`ll wait till i`ve got a ☀️ology before attempting that again... it`s back to the 70`s

watch out for the flares

just beat me to it Rob

would have been an interesting forecast from this 2 day out daisy

Dim and dimmer will be my forecast

There doesn't seem be as much sparkly white sections in the daisy, then say 10 days ago

The turbulence also being picked up on the time lapses of the event

Not connected, the flare occurred a couples of hours after our time lapses.

This still does not change the fact that they showed how turbulent the mesosphere was before the impact

Do we have any idea whether tonight will be any good? Not a big drinker, but gotta have a beer in this weather! I guess if a show does pop up, I'll just have to walk 5/10 mins for a camera-worthy view rather than drive 1 minute!

Yesterdays Daisy doesnt look promising, but they may well have formed since.

Its clouding over from the North, its 6 hours away yet before anything can be seen, so your best chances are in the South as the clouds in the North.

Pretty blind tonight, and a problem with the daisy ... but nice and clear

So, two birds with one stone.

I will start a NLC watch which hopefully will turn into a Storm watch

Not confident of either

No cloud here that I know of, but plenty of Saharan dust up there that could potentially subdue the brightness of any NLCs

Thanks to a weather photographer, we know there was no NLCs last night for the UK, as he comfirmed empty skies... this is more evidence that the daisy prediction isnt far off....

Potentially interesting

Capella came out for the 2nd half just in time for the Nautical twilight

02.30 - 03.50ish ...  before it quickly blends into the Civil twilight glow

I was not expecting anything but a chance to tinker with the settings, and being almost mid - season, always worth a chance

No NLC,s to show so have replaced that sight with the sound of Peter Green`s guitar

that troublesome front to the south has drifted further north than expected, it was supposed to be clear, but its not for a lot of us.

daisy not updated... nothing atm on cameras... (except russia but most  are utc+5 so no real use to us)

maybe clear by dawn, but its not looking good for an evening... unless the daisy comes up trumps..

Lol ... been on the happy juice? Yes its rob.

Basically tonights possible show will be at the top of the daisy at 12 oclock. But they can build and fade so is not exact.

To me the current chart suggest high level clouds but possibly at dawn. Im not stopping up, so if we get nowt tonight then ill miss out
