Incredible precip rate in cell passing through west byfleet Surrey, hail core, frequent lightning and booming thunder, even a small tree down on minor B road presumably due to sudden ground as no wind gusts etc.

Just got power back after losing power for just over an hour. Not a bad storm that although the main part of it was to the west of here.

Reigate: one good cloud to ground bolt a mile off. A few rumbles. It was like being hit by a wet blancmange. Even the worst of the rain lasted 5 minutes. Ho hum.

Looking at the SSE Powertrack app, most of New Milton was out too, as well as Somerford.

Best of the lot I could get. Direct hit (like everywhere lol) but was far to sudden and fast moving for my liking. Plus we had friends over so I was scrambling for gear at the last minute.
