drier, brighter and sunnier day tomorrow 🤞👌😎☀️

Not the best of days today, overcast, humid and some sporadic outbreaks of rain this afternoon. Temp still got up to 21.9C earlier despite the cloud. Tomorrow is looking to be much better.

Better than yesterday, but then yesterday was very poor.

Cloudy morning, light rain for a short time mid afternoon, didn't last long.

This evening has brought a clearance.

Quite cool. Max around 18 degrees.

By July our average max is 20 degrees, so maxes below this will soon be considered below par.

Brighter start today, but it's a bit foggy in parts at lower levels, some cloud inversion as the Cat and Fiddle cam looks clear.  I cannot see the hills at all from my house.  It doesn't feel as cool as the 12° temp suggests. A better day ahead I believe.

Much brighter today, sunny with bubbly clouds. Cooler than lately, I don't see the temp reaching the 20s for another week now.

I see the papers are making up an imminent heatwave again.

Thought this was an interesting watch from a non-weather focused channel. Intrigued what effect it might have over here. If it's increase northern blocking then that's usually a good thing most times of year. As long as it's not going to cause this weeks type of weather.

Back to sunny skies again today, very breezy out, but still felt warm in the strong sunshine, temp reached 19.6C.

A rather non-descript day. Generally cloudy, but stayed dry throughout. Temps sub par, around 18 degree max.

I think most forecasts are saying no to super el nino, so I'll not be getting too caught up with such talk. No doubt there will be false hype about one.

Saw Peoria Illinois had a good storm earlier… where we saw a tornado in 2006 whilst camping ⛺️ which killed peeps in Peoria itself… 😱 😢

A carbon copy of what turned out to be a very poor Tuesday.

Low cloud to valley level, light rain or drizzle, no change expected all day.

Poor temps, currently 17.1 degrees and not expected to climb.

Anyone on holiday in Lake District this week gone, or just arriving will be feeling very short changed.

Looks like someone has pressed the default button on summer. High teens and drizzle is classic NW weather. 😂
