Well done happy for south Cumbria folk getting a good pasting of snow  

clouding up to SW of here… temp 1c dew -1.6c been lovely sunny day hills look like it’s snowed already with such hard frost… 

hoping we see intensity increase and precipitation organises a bit more and we could have some fun and games this evening & overnight

Annnnnd the snow symbols have gone again lol.

TBH it's very rare to see snow here before Christmas, anything is a bonus really. At least the long term does look very promising this year.

WD the lakes and I'm sure others will get some later, might see a bit of wet snow fall here later but extremely doubt anymore than that.

Very light snow falling here on and off, but what is falling is settling, a very light dusting so far. Nothing marginal here. Some really juicy ppn just to the West of here, be interesting to see what that delivers. Temp currently -0.1C, dp -1C.

Harmonie looking decent but as ever don't take these charts seriously. I am optimistic though of a decent snow event tonight for large parts of the south of the region. I'm going to be looking out the windows tonight for sure....sleepless night ahead lol.

Agonizing for the Wirral, Merseyside and a few other parts in the West.

But maybe the low on Monday will swing high enough north to give a spell of snow for a few hours?

Settling nicely.  Very light shower, just a bit of dandruff.

Stood and watched my first flakes of the season, some big flakes mixed in too.  1.4°C, dew point -2°C.  An interesting night ahead.

Snow has made it here. Very light but instantly settling on all surfaces. It looks very patchy on the radar but it could pep up. Christmas lights switch on in the village this evening and this makes it that bit more special.
