Moderate snow now, bigger flakes as well, starting to look quite good.

Just back from a walk at Pott Shrigley, where the north facing slopes might as well have been snowed on.

Drove through light mixed precipitation on the way back, some sleet, some more flakey stuff. Snizzle at home.

Looking at the radar, I think I'm too far north even here, so I'm not expecting anything.

The south Cumbria streamer is remarkable.

It does look this way, but there's a fair bit showing on the current radar just south of Colwyn Bay that is a good 25 to 30 miles further north than what is in front of it. Fingers crossed it continues on its more northerly track.

The first snow of this Winter has fallen here  and Buxton could fair better-off later on into the evening as things really get going, amazing how it went from crystal clear blue skies to overcast within the span of 20 minutes.
