Storms and Convective discussion - 20th March 2023 onwards

Hi from luton ! A few very loud bangs as a heavy shower moved through, one bright flash towards the airport, all Cg for sure! Some really big hail caught me in the garden, ran for cover as they actually hurt !

 

still rumbling away in the distance as it moved through; before it arrived noticeable increase in winds !

Continues to be really windy and some heavy downpours as well.

The wind and make sure to put your volume up it was quite loud even from the inside.

Heavy shower passing to my south bringing lovely cloudscapes at the moment, think I spotted the slightest of mammatus too

Finally a heavy gusty shower, no thunder though, but it's a start. Really heard the roar as it arrived, and lamppost was literally shaking.

Cell passed over us an hour ago. Torrential rain, wind gusts,hail, thunder.  Looks like bulk of the action was in Wycombe but thunder was still pretty impressive

Well that was the system that gave us quite a lot of hail in the end..nice bit of mammatus..

Nice convective tops this one gave a singular loud thunder rumble
