I may be wrong but I think there is a convergence zone running along the red line. Which is somewhat east of where shown on most of the models.

Probably about right. Takes me out of the game.

I still think the overnight risk is still there as long as the capping breaks properly late evening. This is going basically how the WRF said it would which puts the high risk at risk around 10-11pm rather than 4-5pm.

Is the West Country out of the game?

Not just yet. Keep an eye probably to your southeast around late evening or the start of the night. That's the best chance for you, about a 30% chance at the moment.

...there must be some wind shear with height though as noticeable the lower level cloud is moving more ese whereas higher level is more from the south...heres hoping it can build further north and east..🤞

Second-round kicking off over the Goyt Valley and heading into south Manchester once more, sounds more IC than CG but it's consistent rumbles every few seconds. I'd just been out in the garden to see the MCFC 787 pass overhead on it's way inbound to MAN when it all kicked off overhead.

Just gone very dark here in NE Hants. Have been watching these balloon up to my N and East and think I can now hear a few rumbles in the distance.
