Whilst I've missed everything in my visit to Durham, the anvil top of the Pennine storms has reached all the way here!  Must be a hacking great big lump of storms.

heerz needs to expand a bit and of course survive the journey up the Dronfield bypass which generally kills most storms.

Guaranteed they either go west over the Peaks or just to the East of Rother Valley it is so frustrating.

Birmingham for the second day looks like its in a stunning position.

Optimistic this evening, the Pennines seem to be causing the energy to unzip in South Yorkshire.

It was looking good, but the radar has it too far west - again, but only by a fraction.

Is this it, or will things shunt a little further east?

Pretty sure I can hear distant rumbles from that cell to the SW

The lightning detector is crashing on the live radar page from plotting the sheer number of strikes. Came to this thread to see the reports, looks astonishing for the Midlands and earlier for the shires. Will await the photos and vids.

Starting to cloud over in Lincoln, assuming its from the system of storms down south

Been getting booming in Worcester the last 20 minutes, just sent up the drone to see where abouts it is, looks like to the east is getting hit, attached footage from drone, to be honest not much to see, starting facing north towards Kidderminster, finishing towards Malvern and back again
