Yeah I absolutely nailed it too. Literally my best forecast ever. Saved hundreds of lives, probably.

The Ilford tornado I’m predicting for 9pm might be threat to life as well - best for anyone in the area to find a 24 hour shoe shop to shelter in. Failing that just stay in and don’t wander about for no reason.

Ha ha ha. Alright, I'll go with you on that forecast.

I see Ireland is having another peppering again.

Huge penny sized drops of warm rain just falling now as cells pep up here

1658 - The sky has just gone black here and torrential rain started with lots of rumbling going on.

Cloudy with a breeze, that's it for Norfolk for this year, 3 popcorn storms during the day, one visible flash of lightning, spread over 5 months. One day we may see a return of the 80s and 90s...

Well, I'm glad you predicted the Wokingham supercell and glad I heeded your warning. I was able to bring the dog indoors so that she wasn't spooked by the 3 rumbles of thunder 👍

I am heartwarmed by this moving story of survival. I am considering selling commemorative T-shirts if anyone is interested.

On the back they say: “I’m being serious the SE is in with a shout later”

Hi, any hope for a change to something stormy in the SW into the evening/overnight, or is that over for us now? Certainly looks that way at present!

Yes it's probably over. Shortwave trough has passed you now. Might get a weak straggling storm with any CAPE left over but unlikely. It's also not even 5PM yet, we're only about halfway through if the models are correct.

Looks like the main line has passed north and east now. Our hopes rest with the stuff over north Wales.

Zippo here I was hoping for some decent rain to top the ponds up which the heat wave despite the humidity have depleted somewhat. So a quiet end to the heatwave here. Interesting conditions elsewhere though.

Anyone see the hook echo on the cell near Boston?

I saw it on the last satellite image but no reports yet of anything untoward that happened as a result

Watch out for these. Clear slot below them, good for inflow and hail production. Potential may be a Supercell that forms here.

Oh really?! I'm in Boston. I've never experienced a storm like the one we've just had. I posted a photo of the shelf cloud coming towards my house.  I'd love to see radar if anyone has any from around the same time, 4pm ish.
