*Stormforce~beka* Agreed. Woke up to a lovely morning too, but looking at the satellite, it won't last then that's it for the next few days. Pathetic really.

jtay yes it’s the opposite of the last few days. Can see cloud on the W/NW horizon which will probably be here soon after 9.

Looking at the Sat image and the direction of cloud travel, there are a few breaks.

If there's one saving grace, the forecast has overdone cloud amounts for the last few days here and it's broken more than expected. 🤞🏼

Sunnyish start to the day.

XC Weather forecasting that it will stay like this all day, whilst the Met Office says moderate rain from lunchtime onward.

Jeez, how can they be so far apart in forecasting something that will happen in 3 hours?!

Hoped to beat the rain but half way through mowing a very big lawn it started, then got heavier, couldn't be bothered to get waterproofs so I got soaked lol However,I've been reading a lifestyle book that states that if getting soaked mowing lawns causes you stress, dry off, then go to a pub and have pints to calm yourself down.

jy Right I'm off to mow the lawn. As it's not raining here, I wonder if I take my time it might start again?

If we believed Gufus, it would be like taking a warm shower on May 4th

*Stormforce~beka* Weather doesn't matter, the whole concept of World Naked Gardening Day is to allow male and female gardeners to air their differences in public.

Very little rain today, a sharp shower mid morning and an hour of light rain this afternoon. Equally very little sunshine after 09.00 and a cool wind since mid afternoon.

Spitting with rain this morning. Not very pleasant and it looks set in for the weekend.

OH knocks off at lunchtime today, so we're planning to head to Southbourne for a walk and to wave at db's webcam, but it all looks a bit meh.

The rain is still some way down in the Channel, so you might get get lucky.

Meanwhile down here, the overnight low of 5.8°C at: 06:08 has ramped up to 6.5°C , RH96% and light air movement from the E, with scattered clouds at an altitude of 500 ft and broken clouds at an altitude of 2,200 ft.

Dorsetbred It's not too shabby here now. Patches of blue round and about. Ironically, it looks cloudier down South, but I think we'll still give it a go.

Very poor forecasting from the Met Office. It was expected to be wet and we've not had a drop.

Latest update is still wrong.

Mapantz That radar picture is about right for here as we had a few spots of rain earlier but nothing of note,
