Small mercies ; dry from 08.00 until 19.30 although it remained extensively overcast.

Heavy rain now and a very wet night on the way.

Max of merely 8.6c, that’s the second time this week that’s not even reached 9c!

This whole area of rain seems to have extended further west, than forecasted initially, chucking it down at the moment.

Dorsetbred Nah the Q was too long! But we did think about it. Ended up spending £260 instead ... Dropped off in the M27 Macdonalds on the way home and got back 930pmish!

jtay Thank you! MUCH needed! I hate the place ...

I cleaned the chooks, had lunch, got sleepy so had a lie down, got up to go in the garden, saw it was raining, swore and went to Ikea instead. End of day!

With all of the last 6 months rain and ground never having a chance to dry out all this rain only going to cause more flooding concerns on top of already saturated fields??

The poor farmers this year have not had any chance to put much on the way of crops in apparently due to the soddened fields and for the first time we will need importing wheat ,corn etc.

We do need a prolonged dry spell for farmers and us!

Water butt gone from empty to overflowing overnight. Just switched down pipe to fill the other one. 🌧️

It feels cold out there too. Only 6.2C in the greenhouse.

4.1c and still raining, pretty much nonstop rain for 14 hours! It woke us all around midnight.

This past week’s set up 6 to 8 weeks ago would have been winter wonderland!

*Stormforce~beka* It's on its way to you. Lovely here now.

Just put two bags of horse compost on the beds in the greenhouse. It's 22C in there now, so it stinks. 😀
